The cucumbers are planted and the trellis is in place. One plant per leg of the a-frame ladder bamboo trellis detailed in the previous post .
Fast forward a few weeks and those sad baby cukes have gone wild.
I did coax them early on if they needed it. One or 2 of the plants wanted to grow into her neighbor instead of up so I used a little velcro support tape to attach the vine to the frame.
Looking forward to making some bread and butter pickles out of these guys.
