We recently found out that there will be a new addition to our extended family this summer. The day we found out a baby girl is joining us I could not wait to pull out the girly yarns I had and make a little something for her.
A tiny pair of baby mary janes and a matching flower headband.
I used some scrap oatmeal multi colored yarn for the soles of the shoes and a pink and green multi colored yarn for the tops of the shoes and the flower.
The crocheted mary janes also have a snap I sewed in to keep the strap fully functioning. I found the pattern for these online while browsing through crochet baby patterns.
…..and the headband with a big bright flower. I added a matching button to the center of the flower to finish it off.
Hello 🙂
I would like to know if you have a link to pattern for the ADORABLE Mary Janes you made? I have been searching/trying other patterns, but I must say, this is the cutest I’ve seen yet!
Have a great day!
Hi Patty,
The pattern I used is here http://crochet-mania.blogspot.com/2009/08/crochet-baby-mary-jane-slippers.html. Let me know how it goes! I thought these shoes were adorable too and I was really happy with how they turned out. Enjoy 🙂
