We have finally seen the sun! According to the weather forecast, we’ve finished up with the gloom for at least a week (fingers crossed). I snapped some pictures of the blooming flowers we have around the house today. It’s so nice to finally see color…blue skies and bright flowers.
This is the group of naturalizing daffodils I planted in the fall.
More bulbs. Grape hyacinths…these have been in place for 2 springs now. I have to admit that bulbs are at the top of my list of flowers I’d plant. I’m loving being able to enjoy them year after year with little work. Just a bit of food and they’re happy to grow.
This gerbera daisy is a champ of a plant. It has been in bloom for the majority of time since it was given to me. He lived in the planter window all winter and seemed to be content but now he’s enjoying all the outdoors have to offer. What plant would say no to bees and hummingbirds?
Year 2 sweet cherry trees are beginning to bloom. We are seeing these trees flower for the first time since we bought them. The bees have been all over these flowers.
And last but not least, our nectarine tree in bloom. She was the first to bloom this spring…can not wait for some of those delectable nectarines.
